Choctaw Nation offering GED classes

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is offering GED classes for the Haskell County area.
Classes will begin Monday, Oct. 3, and will be conducted on Mondays and Wednedays, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Choctaw Nation Community Center, 2208 E. Main, in Stigler.
The class will meet for approximately three months. Books, supplies and testing fees provided.
A transportation stipend will be paid to those who attend classes on a regular basis and attempt the GED test.
Individuals who have turned in an application with the Adult Education Program for GED classes and wish to attend the upcoming class, are asked to contact that office.
Those who have not applied and wish to attend these and future classes, are asked to contact Neal Hawkins or Kathy Bench at the Durant office - 800-522-6170 or 580-924-8280 Ext. 2319 or 2122.
Registration is available on the first day of class.
A Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) is required.
