Repairs needed at downtown intersection
The signal light at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway in downtown Stigler has been malfunctioning but will soon be repaired, according to City Manager Bobby Mouser.
The malfunction is due to a damaged sensor under the asphalt on Broadway.
The city is responsible for maintenance of the intersection and has hired a private contractor to complete the repairs, which will include replacement of the sensor.
The repairs will be conducted as soon as the required replacement parts are obtained.
Mouser said he hopes the repair will be completed within the next few days, however the process may be delayed due to the July 4 holiday next week.
